Restoration Engineer

With a diverse array of scientific interests, Tanner’s past work has included stable isotope ecology research, invasive species management, wildlife surveying, and environmental consulting. Beginning in  2017 he has turned his focus to restoration engineering, with projects centered on the maintenance and design of rural roads and stream crossings on the North Coast. Since joining Stillwater in 2019, Tanner has been assisting with rural property development as well as grant-funded restoration and flow enhancement projects through GIS mapping, land surveying, and AutoCAD Civil 3D design. Outside of work, he stays busy with all manner of outdoor sports, carpentry and woodwork, wildlife photography, and music.
