Skylar Rousseau
Fisheries Biologist
Skylar Rousseau is a Fisheries Biologist, joining the Stillwater team with experience and education in fisheries and aquatic ecology. He completed his master’s degree at Utah State University where he examined the environmental drivers and ecological importance of streamflow permanence for native salmonids occupying watersheds throughout the northern Rocky Mountains. He has a wide array of field experiences, ranging from desert fish population monitoring in the Upper Colorado River to salmon escapement surveys in northern California. Skylar is excited to take part in Stillwater’s efforts to better understand and conserve natural resources in his home state. In his spare time, Skylar likes to run rivers, read, and teach his dog Hank tricks.
