
Nicole Jurjavcic
Senior Botanist/Plant Ecologist
Nicole is a botanist/plant ecologist with over 20 years of experience in various ecosystems throughout California and Oregon. Her areas of expertise include special-status plant species and invasive plant surveys, vegetation mapping and classification, wetland delineation, restoration design, monitoring of wetland and riparian ecosystems, database design and analyses, and plant taxonomy. Nicole has been a task lead for a number of hydroelectric relicensing projects entailing special-status and invasive plant surveys and vegetation mapping, plus she has developed a vegetation management plan that will guide rare plant protection, weed treatment, and restoration and enhancement priorities. She has also been involved in preparing numerous environmental documents including state and federal environmental permit applications. When not working, Nicole enjoys playing music, gardening, cooking, hiking, backpacking and spending time with her family.
