Melissa joined Stillwater with a diverse career background, including teaching post-secondary health sciences, and working in several management roles. Since 2014, she has focused on accounting, including three years as a Project Accountant with a small environmental consulting firm in Oregon. Melissa is passionate about environmental conservation and has logged many volunteer hours with organizations such as Audubon, California State Parks, and several local land trusts.

In her free time, Melissa provides kayak support for open water swimmers in San Francisco Bay and Lake Tahoe. She also enjoys doing home and yard projects, hiking, biking, and backpacking.
