Matt is a biologist with experience in a variety of fisheries and biological research across the state of California. Matt’s area of expertise involves the monitoring of freshwater fish species, including the use of electrofishing, direct observation, DIDSON surveys, gillnets, and beach seines. He also has experience in stream flow monitoring, water quality monitoring, eelgrass monitoring and restoration, fish passage assessments and fish habitat assessments. Matt joined Stillwater in 2019 to expand our capabilities out of the Morro Bay office. In his free time, you can find him fishing, surfing, or camping along the Central Coast.
