
Lauren Dusek
Senior Fisheries and Wildlife Biologist
Lauren has extensive experience in both biotic and physical sampling techniques for monitoring and assessing population structure and diversity of aquatic and terrestrial species. Lauren’s areas of experience include study design for monitoring bats, amphibians, and freshwater and estuarine fishes, impact assessments, and design for creating and enhancing wildlife habitat in restoration areas. In addition to data analysis, reporting, presenting results, and negotiating with agency stakeholders, she has prepared local, state, and federal environmental permit applications for a variety of projects. Her project management experience supports multidisciplinary projects in the areas of watershed analysis, aquatic restoration, and hydroelectric relicensing. In her free time, she can be found in the garden or out for a walk at the beach, and all while planning her next trip oversees.
