Kipp Pow
Plant Ecologist
Kipp Pow is a plant ecologist with experience in pollination ecology studies, vascular plant identification, vegetation mapping and classification, and special-status and invasive plant surveys. While completing his master’s degree at Humboldt State University, Kipp taught plant taxonomy labs, led field trips and botanical hikes, and collected plant specimens for the vascular plant herbarium and lab demonstration. Over summers, he conducted his own research as well as assisted faculty and other graduate students with various pollination ecology and scanning electron microscopy studies. In his free time, Kipp enjoys gardening, skateboarding, and hiking with his dog Cosmo.
