Katherine Ayres, PhD
Senior Scientist
Katherine serves as a permitting specialist and project manager on several projects. She holds a Ph.D. in Biology from University of Washington with expertise in Conservation Physiology and Animal Behavior. Katherine specializes in the intersection of science and policy and works on several environmental compliance projects, particularly compliance under the federal and state Endangered Species Acts. Katherine has expertise in Habitat Conservation Planning and process implementation. When she is not facilitating permitting meetings and developing project timelines, she can be found floating rivers and birding in the Lake Tahoe area.
