Senior Riparian Ecologist/GIS Analyst
Karley is an ecologist specializing in riparian and wetland ecology, as well as geospatial data analysis and management. Karley has led wetland delineations, vegetation mapping and classification projects, and riparian and revegetation monitoring efforts throughout California; analyzed groundwater dependency of botanical resources; conducted special-status plant and invasive mapping surveys; prepared state and federal environmental permit applications; and supported restoration and revegetation design and implementation. She enjoys helping clients navigate applicable regulatory frameworks to achieve their project goals while protecting ecosystem resources. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outside, be that granite-soaked Sierra backpacking trips, neighborhood walks, or riverside days with her nose in a book.
