Jose is a Staff Engineer with a background in hydrology and water resources engineering. He earned his B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from UCLA. Before joining Stillwater, Jose worked as a field technician for the Shasta Valley Resource Conservation District and Grizzlycorps, contributing to water quality, environmental flow, and salmonid habitat improvement projects. He is interested in process-based restoration and the relationships between ecosystems and urban development. Jose loves to work outside and is passionate about improving public access to nature. In his free time, he enjoys camping, cooking, and swimming outside.
