Jakob is a wildlife biologist that primarily works with Californian herpetofauna. His prior work has focused on the efficacy of various methods for removing invasive species, the usage of artificial cover objects by small-bodied squamates, and the movement ecology of native ranids. With Stillwater, Jakob has assisted on field studies for salmonids, surveys for native ranids, and as a biological monitor for construction sites. In his free time, he enjoys hiking in the east bay foothills and eating his way through bay area restaurants.
