
Imani Russell
Wildlife Biologist
Imani Russell is a Wildlife Biologist with a background in disease ecology, with her primary expertise in amphibian chytridiomycosis. She is working toward her Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at U.C. Santa Barbara, where she is studying the dynamics of chytridiomycosis in multiple frog species across California. Prior to joining Stillwater, Imani served as a Recovery Planning Biologist with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Imani is passionate about using the best available science to inform resource management and is excited to work on conservation challenges from a different perspective. In her free time, she enjoys various fiber arts, perfecting her matcha latte recipe, exploring new places, and all things horror!
