Camille Hymes
Environmental Scientist
Camille joined Stillwater in 2023 as an on-call field technician and transitioned to full time after graduating from UC Davis with a degree in Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology, specializing in Restoration. She specializes in sampling, identifying, and recording native and non-native vegetation at sites throughout Northern California. Prior to joining Stillwater full time, Camille worked at River Partners, UC Rangelands, and the UC Davis Road Ecology Center. Experience gained in these roles included riparian plant monitoring, native seed phenology research, administrative assistance in land management, collecting and processing grass and soil samples, and collecting and processing data from wildlife camera traps. In her free time, Camille enjoys hiking, cooking, watercolor painting, and searching for California’s best swimming spots (let her know if you have recommendations!).
