Brianne Roxbrough
Wildlife Biologist
Brianne started with Stillwater in 2024 as a wildlife biologist. Her prior seasonal work over the years has focused on a variety of subjects such as invasive plant surveys, marsh restoration, insect sampling, songbird research, and special status herps. Prior to entering the work force, Brianne earned her B.S. in Environmental Science at UC Berkeley after transferring from Cuesta College in her home county of San Luis Obispo. At UC Berkeley, Brianne gained hands on research experience from working in both a freshwater macroinvertebrate lab and a plant/soil ecology lab studying stable isotopes. At the same time, she completed her own research paper analyzing an invertebrate dataset and measuring beetle specimens. She spent one of her summers participating in the field program California Ecology and Conservation where she fell in love with field work at numerous UC reserves. In her free time, Brianne enjoys treasure hunting at thrift shops and estate sales, knitting or crocheting, and watching live music.
