Terra Dressler, PhD
Fisheries Biologist
Terra Dressler is a fisheries biologist with expertise in fish ecophysiology, thermal biology, and population ecology. She has extensive experience developing and implementing field-based methods for assessing tolerance and vulnerability to stressors associated with climate change. She also has experience using environmental DNA to map species distributions and to assess patterns of community composition within highly disturbed aquatic systems. Terra recently completed her doctoral degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara where she focused on population specificity of temperature requirements in steelhead trout. In her free time, Terra can almost always be found outside with friends hiking, surfing/skiing, or playing ultimate frisbee.
