Karin Emanuelson is a passionate river engineer on a mission to restore and conserve Colorado watersheds. She began her career as an Environmental Consultant in Boston, MA with water and wastewater treatment facilities then transitioned to work as a River Scientist at a small non-profit focused on river restoration, education, and research in Northern California. She continued to pursue a career in river restoration while working on her master’s degree in Watershed Science at Colorado State University. Karin joined Stillwater in 2021 to support the river restoration group with river assessments, hydraulic modeling, CAD drafting, and project design. In her free time, you’ll find Karin backpacking in remote places, biking on windy roads, and exploring Colorado with her rescue dog, Olive.
