Kaitlyn Yee
Project Scientist
Kaitlyn joined Stillwater’s Berkeley office as a Bay Area native, growing up exploring the redwood forests, rolling hills, and tidepools of the California Bay Area, where she developed a lifelong passion for the outdoors. She completed her B.A. in Environmental Studies from Hawaii Pacific University and an M.S. in Environmental Studies from San Jose State University, with a focus in marine conservation. She has experience working in both freshwater and marine systems, with a particular focus on aquatic species monitoring in Santa Clara County. For her graduate research, she researched the human impacts on white sharks along the Central California coast and led a student research team investigating patterns of shark injury. Outside of work, Kaitlyn enjoys hiking, camping, backpacking, and traveling; anything that brings her closer to wild places.
Education: M.S. Environmental Studies, B.A. Environmental Studies
