James joins Stillwater with more than 30 years of experience in land surveying, civil engineering, and construction management. His current professional focus is land surveying, in which he utilizes tools to provide accurate and succinct depictions of topography and boundary relocation and works to increase the use of remote sensing in surveying products. James has also served as Associate Professor for more than three years teaching Engineering and Surveying courses at CSU Chico, Butte-Glenn Community College, and CalPoly San Luis Obispo. His personal life consists of surfing, blacksmithing, pottery, and taking the puppies to the beach.
