Restoration Engineer
Hattie Greydanus brings to Stillwater her passion for designing resilient systems that blend natural and built infrastructure to benefit people and nature. She holds a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Calvin University and an M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Georgia. Hattie specializes in beaver-related restoration and has developed engineering guidance for when and how to apply hydraulic modeling to beaver dam analog (BDA) designs, especially for cases where beaver return to a project site over time. Hattie hopes to build community partnerships that balance farm economy, flood risk reduction, and ecosystem services throughout the Willamette Valley. In her free time, she enjoys paddleboarding, trail running, and skiing in the beautiful Cascades.
