Bethany Leach
Environmental Scientist
Bethany has supported Stillwater since 2018, including water quality monitoring, recreation studies, wildlife surveys, vegetation monitoring, and aquatic invertebrate assessments. Bethany graduated from UC Santa Cruz in 2013 with a BA in Environmental Studies and a minor in Education. They have an intrinsic connection to the natural world and love spending time in diverse ecosystems of the Western US. Bethany spent the last decade connecting youth to local habitats, training teachers in science, and engaging in vernal pool conservation at the environmental education nonprofit Sacramento Splash where they were an educator and program manager.
