Erika Lee
Environmental Scientist
Erika Lee is a watershed scientist who helps communities improve watershed resilience and restore river systems across the western United States. She specializes in watershed and wildfire planning, hazard mitigation, and post-fire recovery, with experience supporting restoration efforts following major Colorado wildfires, including the Cameron Peak and East Troublesome Fires. Erika combines expertise in GIS analysis, remote sensing, modeling, and field investigations to assess watershed health and wildfire risk. She holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Prescott College and an M.S. in Watershed Science from Colorado State University, where her research focused on wildfire impacts on snow persistence and forest ecosystems. Her work is informed by a passion for balancing natural resource stewardship, community needs, and ecological resilience. Outside of work, Erika can be found exploring the mountains and rivers of the Southern Rockies and Sierra Nevada on foot—or, preferably, on skis.
