
Mariah Papac
Staff Engineer
Mariah loves working in riverine systems to help better understand their unique processes to create resilient and self-sustaining ecosystems. She received her B.S. in Environmental Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and her M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Colorado State University. In her graduate research, Mariah investigated the relationship between floodplain carbon storage and inundation dynamics. Mariah has prior experience in drainage design, storm water infrastructure inspections, and environmental permitting. In her free time, she loves to run, mountain bike, and ski, and when not in the mood for physical activity, Mariah enjoys volunteering at the local wildlife rescue facility, cooking, and reading at home with her cat.
