Allison Titus

Allison Titus

Botanist

Allison joins Stillwater Sciences as a Botanist with experience in plant identification, vegetation mapping, and surveys for invasive and special-status species. While her primary expertise is in California flora, she has a wide-ranging skillset in biological monitoring and a general enthusiasm for natural history that spans plants, vernal pool branchiopods, birds, amphibians, reptiles, and mammals. Her graduate research in the Kneitel Lab at Sacramento State examines patterns of species and functional diversity in vernal pool plant communities along an inundation gradient. When she’s not botanizing or birding, you can find Allison reading fiction, playing outside, printmaking, and cooking big meals for friends and family.

Education: B.S. Environmental Studies, M.S. Biological Sciences (in process)
