Rebecca Wynd

Rebecca Wynd

Project Scientist

Rebecca (Rebs for short) joins Stillwater with a background in tidal wetland restoration, native plant nursery management and botanical surveying throughout California. She has a Master’s degree in Ecology at UC Davis, where she studied the effects of grazing and fire on native forb composition in California annual grasslands. In her free time, Rebs enjoys backpacking – albeit very slowly – since she’s often crouching down to admire tiny flowers or craning her neck to look at a bird. She also loves to go rock climbing and ride her bike to the river for a dip.

Education: M.S. Ecology, B.A. Geography and GIS
