
Elaina Passero
River Scientist/Restoration Engineer
Elaina began working as a Restoration Engineer with Stillwater Sciences in July 2020. Her background is in hydro-ecological decision support tool development. She has worked with state and federal agencies to create tools in R to track species richness, habitat availability, and restoration potential. She enjoys using R to optimize data processing and solve problems. Her focus shifted to river restoration while working on her master’s degree at Colorado State University. Currently, she supports hydraulic modeling, CAD drafting, and design for the Colorado group. In her free time, she can be found hiking, skiing, ice skating, or camping.
