Beth specializes in the ecology and conservation of freshwater and anadromous fishes, particularly in California. A significant portion of her work has focused on regulated streams and the impacts of dams, diversions, and other factors on fish populations in California. Beth has 14 years of experience researching aquatic food webs and monitoring fish, amphibian, reptile, insect, mammal, bird, and plant communities within aquatic and riparian habitats.
